Hi all,

We are now half way through the season and as the weather turns cold the rugby is getting serious. 

All our teams are well positioned to play finals with First Grade sitting second behind Footscray and our Women also sitting second behind Endeavour Hills. Ironically in both competitions we are sitting second behind the team’s we beat in the Grand Final last year.

We are sitting well inside the 4 for each of the men’s grades and our Colts team are impressing with a lot of our players playing at this level for the first time. Our aim remains to make the finals for all our 6 teams. 

We have a run of 4 home games at Albert Park over the next month so it’s a great chance to come down and see our teams in action. This includes back to back games against Harlequins and Footscray in the next 2 weeks which will shape the final 4. The Dungeon is back in action after a refurbishment and we will playing all the Lions matches. No better way to get your rugby fix than supporting Power House as we look to have another great season.

Don’t forget our big fundraiser for the year – the Lions Test Match lunch on Friday 25 July at The Park above the Dungeon. That evening our first grade is playing Melbourne Unicorns under lights so a great chance to head to the rugby after the lunch. Be great to have Power House supporters in full voice against our arch rivals on a chilly Friday night before the big Test the next day.
